Pmc Ladder Output file

I have offloaded a ladder program from a Johnford machining centre with a Fanuc Oi md control , made some changes , using Fanuc ladder III , and when trying to load the new ladder to machine , I get the following error " Unknown file format".

The extension of the file I am trying to load is .LAD.

Any advise.
