help with a hurco cnc

i have a hurco cnc vertical machine center eq001 that i need to find a quill seal for. we had a machine repair man here but he is having a time finding the seal. the best measurments i can get at this time is quill size 3.350 or 3.400 hard to get the calipers up in that area and the bore for the seal is 3,625 and the depth for it is .300 it looks to me to be a pocket the sela fits into but the repairman saind no. the seal can be pushed all the way up inside the quill area. i pocked a small screw driver in there and could go past that step. anyway he said hurco does not make that seal anymore and they only made a few that size and went to a larger seal. can anyone help me figure this out. if i need a machine model other than eq001 tell me where it should be i look all over and did not see any but foe the numbes on the electrical panel ant looked more like the cabnet numbers.
