We have 2 Duraturn 2550 machines that were moved from one plant to another. After getting them back up, on one, the X axis would not move and the chuck would not function with the foot switch. The other machine, the chuck would not function with the foot switch. I will note that the chucks open and close with M10/M11 codes in MDI. The a axis turned out to be the tailstock handle not be locked into position and we are down to just the foot switch issue. Both machines were under power and running before the move.
Any ideas that would cause these foot switches to not operate that we could look for? My guess is it will be something simple such as what happened with the X axis, but not sure.
These are my first Mori Seiki machines in this plant and not familiar with common issues.
